Normally I exclude comics, but once again an exception is made, this time for the complete Sin City collection, totaling over 12cm of shelf space.

Obviously, I only bought the set because I'd seen the movie, and was interested to know if the comics were better. The answer is that I don't know. The movie is so like the comics that I have a hard time differentiating between the two. The comics that weren't filmed seem inferior to those that were, but it'd still be interesting to see them filmed, as I hear they're planning to do.
