A very strange book. Usually books get you inside the head of the characters, or at least one of them, but this one doesn't, it's just a collection of dialogue and action, no inner thoughts revealed anywhere. It distances you from the characters, but that's probably not a bad thing, considering the things they do.

Still, there's a certain epic quality about everything, which keeps it interesting.
