I haven't read Greene before, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that he isn't as "dry" as many "literary" authors. Instead it reads almost as smoothly as something by, say, Hiaasen, only with a great deal more panache. I think I'm going to enjoy catching up with Greene's works; luckily he wrote quite a few of them.
