I've read The Shawshank Redemption before but not the other three stories so I'm not classifying this as a reread. I wonder why every one of King's stories ends up as a movie..three out of four stories in this book are also movies. I have to agree with what some review of the movie made out of Apt Pupil said, the idea of a hiding Nazi commander killing stray cats in his oven is absolutely ridiculous.
