Some books you can't pick up, and some you can't put down. Archer's books usually fall in the latter category, and this one is no exception. Couple of things stood out, however. The transformation of Charles in the end is totally out of character for him, I didn't understand what the Queen stuff in the end was all about, and the ending was totally bizarre.

Notice how all those things are at the end? I suspect it was necessary, because you can't have 4 people fighting for being Prime Minister at the same time, so he had to do something to get two of them out of the way. I think that's just bad planning, however. As a whole 4 main characters were too much, I never really got to know anyone of them.
