Especially the third lecture, "This Unscientific Age", is even more valid today than it was in 1963 when it was given. Absolutely everyone should read this book, as it contains among other things, an excellent discussion about doubt and uncertainty, and how one should embrace them, not fear them. There's lots of other good stuff in there too.
